Summary

Working for the Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Engineering Team at Tessell, which is responsible for the development of critical infrastructure components essential for maintaining the uninterrupted operation of Tessell's SaaS services. My role involves enhancing scalability, security and bolstering availability across various platform components. Developed a robust, multi-tenant architecture ensuring high availability, facilitating seamless asynchronous communication between control and data plane. Leveraged NATS message queue technology to optimize system performance and reliability. Engineered and implemented a solution allowing customers to seamlessly utilize their individual AWS/Azure cloud accounts as the designated data plane for provisioning databases within the Tessell platform, all while ensuring Tessell maintains restricted access to their accounts. Engineered an advanced solution to securely expose internal APIs between isolated networks, specifically tailored for streamlined tenant onboarding, utilizing the robust capabilities of Tailscale. Architected and implemented an asynchronous self-upgrading libraries framework, facilitating automatic upgrades for both itself and other essential libraries operating within the data plane. This innovative solution ensures prompt updates as soon as new versions become available, enhancing overall system efficiency and reliability. Spearheaded the LB Consolidation project across AWS and Azure Control Planes, ensuring a seamless transition with zero downtime for production customers. This initiative optimized resource utilization, improved infrastructure efficiency, and enhanced system reliability. As a result, the project delivered sustained cost savings of over $2,000 per month while maintaining high availability and performance. Proposed and implemented an RCA Automation project that streamlined alert management by automating analysis, generating Al runbooks, and enhancing cross-team knowledge sharing. This initiative significantly reduced developers' on-call burden, slashing the average alert resolution time by approximately 60%.

Summary

Worked for the Move Team at Nutanix, which provides One-Click Multi Cloud Mobility Services with optimal performance and near-zero VM downtime. Implemented the discovery, validation and orchestration of migrations of SMB and NFS Shares from vendor-agnostic file servers to Nutanix. Leveraged Azure's ARM and Storage APIs to enable bidirectional virtual machine migration support between Azure and AHV clusters. Became the Subject Matter Expert(SME) in IP retention by streamlining the network configuration mechanism on target VMs (Linux and windows) for on-prem to on-prem migrations. Reduced the validation time of migrations by 90% for high volume workloads by overhauling the inventory collection process of cloud providers.
